There is no affordable apts in the South County area, you might have better luck in North County though.

which is why i suggested around a community college. less expensive in the very expensive south orange county

well my budget is around 1000.. for at least a 2 bedroom... somehwere around laguna hills, laguna niguel, aliso viejo...

That price in unheard of for a 2 bedroom Apt. in the South County area, be prepared to pay almost $2,000.00 a month for a 2 bdrm Apt.

I don't think you could find a 2/2 for $1000 in the bad part of Santa Ana, nevermind south county. The best deal I know if is the complex where I'm at now in Costa Mesa that's only $1350 for a 2/2 and that's easily $400-500 less than anything else around here.
