Hi all. Yes, it's one of those topics again, sorry. I have read a bunch of older posts regarding the quality and safety of various parts of Tustin, but I'd still like an answer for my specific location.

Anything good or bad you can say about living on the south side of E Main St, between Newport and Bryan? I will only stay there for a few month, so I don't care about long term problems, such as schools etc.

Thank you!

I honestly don't know the street names, but I know the city well. South Tustin off the 55 and McFadden a bit sketchy, low income, but other than that it's a nice city. Even with that I would feel much safer in the worst part of the city rather than Santa Ana.

You should probably visit Santa Ana sometime before making global statements about a city of that size. Then you will not post things that are completely wrong.

Anyway back to the OP, your area is not a bad area. It is pretty commercial and busy, but not a bad or dangerous place to live.

Why do you assume I haven't. I grew up next door for 25 years. Everyone, except you, know that SA is a high crime, low income area, unless you want to call the area by Orange Mall SA, which I don't consider it. That's akin to calling Santa Ana heights by JWA Santa Ana. Now if you want to tell me the area by McFadden and Bristol sure that is ok, and that is now South Coast Metro.

You shouldn't assume I don't know OC I know it very well.

And I am glad you like SA, you are the only one I know of honestly.

You should probably read and reread what you write BEFORE you post on a public forum with thousands of users.

It's amazing how many people know very little even about their own communities, much less neighboring ones. It's the same as with people; you can rub shoulders with them week after week for 25 years, but not really know them. Perhaps it's a matter of pre-judging something and writing it off AS IF it is already a known quantity.

I used to work at the CVS a block away on 1st street. Area is perfectly fine.

I am sorry you have a problem with freedom of expression. And it's not pre-judging when you have spent a lot of time in that city and know many people that have lived/work there. Sorry my post are not PC enough for you put me on ignore if it bothers you.

I don't.

Still sounds like knee-jerk grandstanding to me even if you lived there 100 years, so....

It has nothing to do with political correctness and what fun would it be to ignore all the flamers?
