I am looking for an organization that accepts used furniture in good condition. We would like to donate several items to a good cause - such as an oak bedroom set, Kids bunk beds, living room furiture, etc.
Does anybody know a good place to take this?

Salvation Army
Goodwill

We had in Ventura county something called ARC, Association for Retarded Citizens which we donated tons of stuff to. They picked it up too.

Laura's House takes used furniture & sells it & uses the money to take care of abused women & kids trying to get back on their feet. They have a store in Lake Forest & San Clemente.

Slvation Army on Tustin avenue just south of Chapman in Orange. Also St. Vincent De Paul in orange, but call them first, they may have stopped taking furniture. Furniture is not popualr. It is hard to sell, takes up a lot of space and does nto bring huge money. Plus too many people try to donate absolute junk so that they do not have to pay to have it hauled away.
