I currently live in downtown (Belltown) Seattle, but have lived in Portland, San Francisco, Fresno, central PA, Columbus, OH, and grew up in Philadelphia. I've been a project manager in the transportation industry for 7 years, hence all of the relo's, but I am taking over a regional position that will finally be long term. I office from home, but have accounts to visit in mostly the inland empire as well as Phoenix- basically on my own schedule. 29 years old, single, don't mind making the most of my weekends but would prefer some bit of quiet during the week. I've been spoiled living in Seattle and would really like to park the car when I'm back from a travel day and walk to things like the gym, stores, bars, etc.. The beach lifestyles of Huntington/Newport seem to appeal, but I'm torn between Pasadena and Fullerton as well. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! I'd like to stay under $1600 a month for apt rent.

You may like Downtown Huntington Beach, Seal Beach and the Belmont Shore Area of Long Beach. if you want to be near the Beaches. All these areas offer every living amenity you could want.

Old Town Orange, Downtown Fullerton or Downtown Brea are also very cool areas, but can take up to 45 minutes to get to the beach.
