Oregon Spring
It's that time of year again Springtime. The trees are starting to get new leaves. The rhododendrons have big fat buds on them.
The sun shines some days and it rains sometimes here on the coast.
Are you seeing signs of spring where you live?

Oh, I live in Alaska. But I lived in Oregon during the time my son was in school. In fact I was born there, and my sister lives in Lake O. (great place).
I saw a skunk cabbage starting to bloom though.

The songbirds are back and our cat just had 6 kittens. The air is sweet with blossoms.
The rain is intermittent, it is a little chillier than last year. Nothing like the east coast right now.

We're in NY and are soaked. That's usually the type of rain we get - buckets!

This morning we had some rain but this afternoon the sun is out. It's good to see spring!
The roses have buds too.

Yesterday (Tuesday) was crazy weather in Eugene. The morning started cool and damp. By noon or around there, there was some sunshine, which was nice. By 1:30 or 2:00 - there was lots of rain. By 7:00 pm. - hail.... LOL
Today another downpour around 1:00 or so... it's all good.

Yes I do know. I forgot to mention the tourists that start coming out as the weather improves.

God bless those tourists, if we only had a tourist tax.
Yeh, I said it.

Oregon does have a Tourists Tax, it's called millions, and millions of tourists dollars spread out all over the state, benefiting everyone in the state, in one way or another. Tourists are dropping millions every year in our state.
Keep them and their money coming.....
