Seminole County has the best school district with Oviedo, Lake Mary/West Sanford, Casselberry/Lake Howell, Altamonte Springs/Lake Brantley and Longwood/Wekiva Springs the best suburbs to concentrate in.

It's definitely going to be a matter of opinion. To me, the best suburbs are Dr. Phillips and Windermere, which are also two of the best school districts in Orange County.

Those state rankings are meaningless. One test. One day.

If the state took other things into consideration like companies do when they rate colleges (or even the ones like Newsweek who rate high schools), then it would be more credible.

When you apply for college, they look at grades, test scores, essays, community service, extracurricular activities, etc. However, when people judge K-12, they just want to look at student performance on ONE test.

Seminole is a good school system. There are also good schools within Orange County as well. Given the size of some of Florida's school systems, I would judge by the individual schools instead of the district as a whole.
