pretty much any of them will

We currently live in Live Oak Reserve - it is a great place to live. Our lot is over 1/3 of an acre, but that is probably higher than average. Our first year in Oviedo (2011) we lived in Remington Park. That is a really great neighborhood. It felt even more family oriented with a bike parade on 4th of July, and other organized events. Remington Park is off of Alafaya, and not in the "City limits" of Oviedo, but post address is Oviedo. Difference is lower taxes due to not receiving fire / police services from city. Emergency services are provided by Seminole County services. Remington Park houses are older, but at a lower price point (generally) than Live Oak Reserve.

Personally, we are looking to move and purchase a 3 - 5 acre parcel. So that is an entirely new ball game as far as housing. Are you wanting more than an acre or less than an acre?

I'm looking for more "traditional" type neighborhoods that have more space than a lot of the neighborhoods I see down here. I'm renting now in the Sanctuary so I won't be buying for a little while, but I'm just trying to get a feel of what's out there and be prepared when the time comes to house hunt. I just want at least a quarter acre and preferably a little more. When the houses are too tightly spaced it just looks odd to me. From what I have seen it seems the neighborhoods north of Mitchell Hammock near the Oviedo High have some more space. Also, Kinsbridge West looked good to me. I'm just learning since I have only been down here for a little over 1 week. Where is Remington Place? I saw a very nice house for sale from there online. Thanks for the input.
