Has anyone added a screened porch / sunroom / pool-less lanai to their home in the Orlando area? I'm trying to get a ballpark estimate online for how much it might cost for a decent quality but no-frills addition to our house, maybe 10X20 feet or so in size, one story, with a fan or two, but all I get is page after page of "Call us to schedule your free estimate." They're not even providing rough estimates/price ranges without physically getting someone out to your house. Anyone had this service done?

There are so many variables that any company that would give a estimated quote over the phone would seem shady to me.

Go on Angies List and call companies with double digit reviews with A ratings. I had my entire pool area re-screened with all new beams etc... it cost around $9,000 but it was a big area.

It'll run around $800-$1000 depending upon materials. I would make sure all of the wood is pressure-treated for protection from rot/insects, invest a bit more in some weather resistant roofing, and to utilize a heavier gauge screen resistant to sun fading/deterioration, insects and pet/animal damage. The better materials will add about 20% to the total but will pay dividends for the long run.

We are in the process of contracting to have one done now. Had the Architect/designer visit today to get our ideas, measurements so they can create the design. Not the cheapest route to take but if is all in what you want and our willing or able to pay for. The more you want and the higher quality the more you will pay. We are having a small screen porch and larger deck combined into one screen porch with a grilling area 8x12 attached.
