We are moving to orlando this summer and do not want to live in the ghetto, near a bunch of old folk, our in a spanish speaking area. We are young professionals and want to be in a nice hip trendy part of town. We like older homes that are more urban than the burbs. Don't mind noise, people, traffic, and waliking to the store. Please help us find this area. The realator might tell us anything to make a sale. Thank you for you input.

Young-UCF or Altamonte
Hip- Downtown, Thornton Park, Winter Park, and College Park.

There are a lot of suburban areas and hispanic areas, but Orlando really does not have THAT many old people. The more run down areas are along Orange Blossom Trail, Pine Hills and Oak Ridge.

If you are trying to move to Metro Orlando and want to avoid Spanish speaking people, well you have hell on your hands. No matter what part of Central Florida you move to, the Hispanic population is very big here. Majority is Puerto Ricans and Mexicans.

Default Hi

Well i specialize in Winter Garden but i would have to agree with the previous poster. Simply because if you want to be walking distance, then you really want to be in the downtown area, so Winter Park, area i thing would probably suit you. But i would recommend just going and checking out all the areas so you get a feel yourself. I tell my customers, i can recommend some great areas, but you have to live there and it has to fit your needs, so deffinatly visit all the areas you hear about and keep us updated on what you liked the best.

Good luck

Nick

If you need your yard mowed or your roof done at a reasonable price, you would be glad to them around.

Hi, young professional:

Let me tell you that I'm a professional too! And I'm Spanish. Are you trying to implicate that Spanish speaking people can't be professionals?

I'm planning to move to Orlando also.

Default Hi lilly

Well if you listen to the majority of people on here, you will never walk out of your front door. There are a couple of areas i would recommend. but firstly i would have to ask, where do you need to be close to, if anything, also what is your budget and what size property are you looking for. Also do you want to rent or buy. I like Celebration, its very expensive and having lived in other areas, even as a realtor i cant justify the high expense for the area. I like Winter Garden and Windermere. This is the area i live myself. Great for families, fantastic access to everywhere, unless you need to be in cocoa....lol. If you need to be very close to the airport then the Lake Nona area is also very nice, but for the money i have to say Winter Garden. My parents are here at the moment from the UK (im originally from the UK) and they have a home in Celebration, and i brought them over to Winter Garden today because they have just put a new mall in over here and they are now selling their home in Celebration to buy in Winter Garden. Thats what a great area it is, but again, i would recommend coming down and visiting to see what you think yourself with an openmind to all the areas you have heard about.

If you need any more info feel free to message me.

best regards

Nick

I know! When Celebration was being built, I was going to buy a property there. Prices were way lower than now. I missed the opportunity. I have 2 daughters and would like to be in an area where they are safe. I will accommodate my job as to the area that I live in.

Default Good areas?

How is Tampa to live in? Is this a flooding area? How about Cocoa Beach?
