You never see windows with bars? I really hope you are kidding.

Make sure the condo allows bars before you put them in.

Yeah. Bars are commonplace in the rough neighborhoods of Miami, but I haven't seen them here. I work in Pine Hills.

Talk to anyone from Chicago and up north like NJ or Philly and they'll tell you our ghettos aren't as bad as the ones up there. I've heard tons of stories.

Na, besides on jails, I never see bars on windows.

I remember seeing bars on a bunch of the houses right behind Millenia near John Young and Americana.. kind of the same area as the OP's condo.

I have some of my rentals in that part of town and I do carry a gun when picking up rent. My problem is most tenants pay in cash so I might have 3-4k on me at any time and everyone knows why I am there.

I've seen them on houses in Lockhart, Millenia, and even some parts of east Orlando.

I carry a Glock 40cal 90% of the time anyway and 100% when getting rent even when getting rent in Windermere. So yes I would but you could get a dog when not home
