Do folks tip on the pre or post coupon amount ? No clue. What other people do is their business.

For some reason, in this particular thread for the past couple of days, my font thing doesn't want to work so forgive my being stuck on italics.
I've sneaked out of tthe house a few times in my day to go ride with the ice cream man who back then was older than me and could have gotten in major trouble.
On the buy one get one free meal coupon thing sometimes we can split the tip.
Last time I wore a hat was about a week ago.
When you were younger did you ever "sneak out of the house" to meet friends or go to a party ? I "ran away" from home when I was nine because my parents would not let me go see "Rumble on the Docks" at the theater. They were not too concerned since I was on my bike and we lived on a military base overseas. There was no way the APs (Air Police) would ever let me leave the base. AHAHAHA
How about school, did you ever "oops" skip a class or classes ? Only in college. I needed my sleep, don't cha know.
Did you get caught ? Nobody cared.
Bonus Question:
I really could of used an "adult bib" the last time I ate corn on the cob with lots of butter.

Just for Fun:
What was the last time you wore a hat ? 1988. It was for a play.
However, when we were cleaning out our mother's house in 2008 I ran across three great hat boxes. I kept them and when I got home I opened the boxes. There were hats in two of them. One is a wonderful large floppy brimmed red hat and the other is a cute little job of brown suede that mother wore in the 40s. It looks like one the Andrews Sisters would wear while singing "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company C." I'll never wear them but there is no way I could ever let them go.

I have a feeling there are going to be quite a few kids from last years 3rd grade. But it will be fun to see their faces when Ms Karla walks into the classroom Have a most wonderful, exciting day, Ms Karla!!!!
So before I head off let me ask
Today's Question(s):
When you were younger did you ever "sneak out of the house" to meet friends or go to a party ? Never, ever!!!! I don't know what punishment my parents would have inflicted upon me had I ever attempted this. Just that stern look from my Daddy would settle any thoughts of misbehaving. Maybe that's why, oh, never mind. Another story!!!
How about school, did you ever "oops" skip a class or classes ? NO, I was one of those weirdos who actually liked school
Did you get caught ? See above. Never did those 'fun' things.
Bonus Question:
I really could of used an "adult bib" the last time I ate BBQ____?
Extra Credit Question:
What is the "normal" or standard procedure in your neck of the woods:
When you go out to eat and have a coupon(a buy one entree get one free or $$$ off the item or bill)
Do folks tip on the pre or post coupon amount ? Post amount and the service
When you go to a wedding do folks give a present or cash ? Around here, both appear acceptable.
Do you differ from the local practice ? I used to enjoy searching for just that 'right' gift for the innocent couple. Now, not as much. Therefore cash seems appropriate!

What was the last time you wore a hat ? Last spring on a cold and windy blustery, Winnie the Pooh type of day!!!

Good Morning y'all!!!! I hope that today is a better one for everyone...
When you were younger did you ever "sneak out of the house" to meet friends or go to a party ? I was never bold enough to sneak out of the house and never really had to. My mother was in her own world (she even exists there today ) so I could have done just about anything I wanted but I thank God for the sense to keep me grounded and out of trouble.
How about school, did you ever "oops" skip a class or classes ? I skipped classes my senior year.
Did you get caught ?Never
Bonus Question:
I really could of used an "adult bib" the last time I ate crab legs. They are so much work, so messy but soooooooooooo good!!
Extra Credit Question:
What is the "normal" or standard procedure in your neck of the woods:
When you go out to eat and have a coupon(a buy one entree get one free or $$$ off the item or bill) Do folks tip on the pre or post coupon amount ? Wow, never really gave it a thought. Just tipped off the bill amount. However if service was good, I tip 20-25% usually.
When you go to a wedding do folks give a present or cash ? Usually a gift from the registry unless they specifically want cash.
Do you differ from the local practice ? No
Just for Fun:
What was the last time you wore a hat ? I can't remember. I don't wear them very often.
