Good morning peevers.

Another damp one today.

Yesterday evening Mrs J and I finalised our internet grocery order which arrives this evening. I'm afraid that we can sometimes be quite poor at getting the order right. We'll forget something, or duplicate something else that we already have.

That gave me the idea for the POTD which is just that;

Forgetting or duplicating an item of food in your grocery shop.

Yep!

What I meant there was buying something and finding you already have it at home.

Having both fridge-freezers running doesn't help getting the order right.

I know I gotcha on that part Jez! But....now I'm trying to figure out your last sentence.. Speaking of freezers we need an extra, small one, and I was looking at some last night. BTW, my wife doesn't like for me to go shopping for groceries with her. We get extras but usually don't miss items as she does when alone.

Good peeve. I would love to order my groceries on the internet. So far I have only ordered coffee that way.

I keep an ongoing list...but if I forget my list I always forget something. Oh and I have to remember to take the list into the store

As for buying something I already have, I usually do that with spices. There are so many spices.

I tend to wander about in the supermarket buying whatever takes my fancy and completely failing to get anything i actually need.

That gets done the next day after i remember to make a list.

Do they deliver your groceries too? Free? I've never ordered groceries on line and always either forget my list or don't have one!!
