My contract for work has ended and I've been out of school for some time, i need to get motivated because I will write test for law school in september, I cannot look at a book without falling asleep. I have no clue how I use to get As in in every course at a school as elite as harvard or be so motivated. My entire class was almost all chinese, koreans, east europeans and jews because most other groups could not get in. I have zero desire to work and just want to sit at home, sleep and eat all day.

Before I was motivated by the burning desire to succeed and an equally strong fear of failure and possibly a level of competition, I could work for 12-16 hours a day and be fine on 2-3 hour sleep which was the norm. Everything was well structured and either I worked for 16 hours, or studied very hard or I failed. Now it seems I just delay to avoid failure. if the lsat is coming then I just delay the test if I get lazy. Someone motivate me.

Honker down. It's such a short part of your life. It is what you want isn't it?

Lou Holtz (Notre Dame football coach 1980s) responded to someone who called him a great motivator by saying "I'm not a great motivator, I'm just good a weeding out people who can't motivate themselves."

Not depressed just lazy. No psychological issues or health issues other than plain lazyness. I get up and think about working productively but just go do something unproductive and can't get out of the rift
