BREAK A GLASS?
If you break a glass or ceramic item in your kitchen, it's difficult to pick up all the shards without getting at least one stuck in your hand. Ouch!
An easy way to pick up the tiniest of shards is to use a slice of soft white bread. Yep. First, carefully pick up the larger pieces of glass and then press a slice of bread onto the remaining small shards. The bread will grab up those little bits and you can then toss the whole slice into the trash. Easy peasy!

Wow, I've never heard of anything like that before. How interesting! I usually pick up the big shards with my hands and use the vacuum cleaner to get the tiny stuff. (I'm guessing this doesn't work with buttered toast.) Thanks, Pam!
