It should be interesting this weekend. There is a basketball event going on. They are closing several roads and have set up basketball hoops all over the place. There is one set up directly across the street from my balcony. The weekend farmers market is also going on. Between the two events around 200 parking spots downtown will not be available. People will be parking many blocks away. Good thing my building has a parking garage.

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you went away?
I travel all the time. The last actual vacation was about 2 years ago.

Where did you go?

Went to Vegas for a couple days and then flew up to Montana where I spent 2 weeks driving around the state.

Have you ever stayed with friends and/or family while away?

Many years ago

Have you ever been on an all inclusive vacation?
Nope. They usually involve you doing what they want you to do. I would rather wander off on my own.

Extra Credit Questions:

What was the last game you played?
Cards on the computer

What was the last movie you saw?
Something on tv. It has been over 20 years since I last went inside a theater.

What was the last thing you ate?
Just finished a Subway sub.

Who was the last person you spoke to?
The sandwich maker at Subway

Bonus Questions:
It’s National Tell a Joke Day....

Do you know any good jokes?
I know lots of raunchy jokes.

Tell us something funny?
C-D TOS forbids the telling of my raunchy jokes

What makes you laugh?
Nothing beats a good fart scene in a movie

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you went away? June

Where did you go? We went to my cousin's house in Modesto for a family get-together.

Have you ever stayed with friends and/or family while away? Only once or twice, because Mr. Bay is tall and needs at least a queen size bed. We usually stay in hotels or motels so we can be comfortable.

Have you ever been on an all inclusive vacation? No

Extra Credit Questions:
What was the last game you played? Text Twist 2

What was the last movie you saw? Not counting movies I saw on TV, Chef

What was the last thing you ate? Black walnut ice cream cone

Who was the last person you spoke to? Mr. Bay, who's sitting across from me as I write this.

Bonus Questions:

Do you know any good jokes? No. I'm a naturally funny person who loves to make people laugh, but I'm absolutely no good at telling jokes. I can never remember how they go.

Tell us something funny? Last night we were in a noisy restaurant and my husband was commenting on the loud group of women at the bar. Then he asked me, "Do you have any friends who are boisterous?" I thought he said, "Do you have any friends who are oysters."

What makes you laugh? Silly things

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you went away?

last April/May

Where did you go?

South Carolina

Have you ever stayed with friends and/or family while away?

yes

Have you ever been on an all inclusive vacation?

I honestly don't know what this means.

Extra Credit Questions:
What was the last game you played?

Flip Words 2

What was the last movie you saw?

I Spit On Your Grave. It just ended.

What was the last thing you ate?

Cashews

Who was the last person you spoke to?

Cleaning woman

Bonus Questions:
It’s National Tell a Joke Day....

Do you know any good jokes?

No. I can never remember them.

Tell us something funny?

At work, I once attempted to remark to a co-worker, "You are always getting into barroom brawls" but it came out "You are always getting into ballroom bras."

What makes you laugh?

Some episodes of South Park like "Two Days Before The Day After Tomorrow" which parodies the movie "The Day After Tomorrow," global warming and Hurricane Katrina. Cartman and Stan are playing in a boat and accidently plow into a beaver dam which floods the nearby town of Beaverton. Beaverton people are on their roof but don't get help because a global warming State of Emergency is declared and the town of South Park heads for the community shelter to take cover. I howl at the scene of Randy Marsh (and two other fathers) doing the Dennis Quaid character (and 2 other scientists) walking to rescue his son (Jake Gyllenhaal), part, every time I see it. In the real movie, Quaid and friends are trudging through a blizzard, roped to each other. In the South Park episode, Marsh and friends are trudging through the streets of South Park wearing parkas in summer temperatures, roped to each other. Too funny.
