My car will be 5 years old in a few weeks, and I'm surprised that the battery is still fully charged. It sits out in the elements 24/7 and has weathered sub-zero temperatures for 5 winters, yet it still starts every time, no matter how cold it is outside. (Knock on wood!)

I can't believe your car is already 5 years old, Pam. I remember when you bought it and it seems like just a year or so ago.
I have a 2004 Honda and had to replace the battery for the first time 9 months ago.
My 14 year old Ford SUV is just now starting it's 3rd battery. I find that the highest CCA's your battery has the longer it lasts as it will handle the heavy electrical loads your vehicle will put on it. I recommend 850 CCA's (Cold Cranking Amps)
