I am presently thinking about a thing that just happened. It was so weird.
I went outside in the wet spring snow, with sun trying to break through here and there, and I was trying to change my windshield wipers. I was struggling...there is a plastic adapter I need to remove and change for another one, and removing the one that came installed is proving tricky... And so I'm struggling there, by my van, and two Canadian geese suddenly flew in, I heard the honking and turned around, and they landed like 3 feet from me, and both stood there just staring at me. Still, silent, and standing as tall as my waist, these huge birds, like I had a weird, judgmental audience of migratory waterfowl.
It was just too much. I put the wiper blade down in the car, shut the door and walked away. The geese continued to stand right where they were, and watched me leave. I cannot get the sight of them out of my head. It was so strange.
