Today's Questions: Past or present, do you personally know any police officers or firefighters or paramedics? Yes to all three. Salt of the earth; all heroes in my book.
Have you done a ride-along with police/firefighters/EMTs on a shift or would you, given the chance? ---> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ride-alongHmmm. I'm not sure whether I would or not. I guess it depends on which city it's in. If it's in the city I live in, I'd be okay with that. If it's in the city I work in, no way Jose. I work in one of the most dangerous cities in the U.S.
Bonus Section: Some happiness that money bought: My house; my current car.

Have you bought beer for others or was there a time you would have? Once, when I was in college in the early 70s.
How old were you the first time you drank an alcoholic beverage? My parents let me taste a screwdriver at a restaurant when I was about 16. I didn't consume a whole drink until I was 18 and in college. I have to admit, I made up for lost time over the next few years.
Was that "legal" where you lived? Not until I turned 21.
