Do you send out Christmas or Holiday cards? Yes, I usually send out cards that are non-religious in nature because I know people who are non-believers or whose beliefs are all over the map.
Do you have any stamps? Yes. I just bought some.
What is on them? There are some generic American flag stamps and some Congratulations stamps that I use on birthday cards. The Christmas stamps are the Madonna and child because (even though I'm not religious) I thought the secular designs were ugly this year.
Are you buying gifts for others for Christmas? Yes, I've already bought quite a few. I'm seeing an old friend for lunch on Tuesday, so I have some gifts ready to give her, and I baked cookies, too.
What would you give to someone who is hard to shop for? Well, a gift certificate is the standard answer to this, but I prefer not to do that. I would probably give him or her a nice bottle of wine or some homemade goodies.
Have you ever given a “coupon” to someone for help? Example...this coupon good for me to come over and pressure wash your driveway. Yes, I did that once as a gag.
Have you ever received a coupon for some kind of help? No, unless a gift certificate for a facial counts. That was a nice gift.
If you got a coupon for help what would you wish it to be? Carpet cleaning.
Are you making a homemade gifts this year? Yes, I always bake cookies. This year I baked Lebkuchen, jam thumbprints and mini fruitcakes (baked in mini muffin pans). I'll be baking more as the season progresses.

Would you rather have a plain license plate or a vanity plate? Mine have always been plain. I don't use my car as a billboard. I'd rather be anonymous. But I do sometimes enjoy reading other people's vanity plates and bumper stickers.

When is the last time someone helped you? With what? Mr. Bay put away some items on the top shelf that I would have needed a stepladder to reach.
When is the last time you helped someone else? With what? I helped Mr. Bay put his belt on.
When does helping "around someone's house" become enabling them to not be responsible homeowners? I am not sure how to answer this. I think it's OK to help out if your neighbors are elderly, disabled or away from home for long periods, but I would resent it if my help was taken for granted. I would feel I was being taken advantage of.
