Hey, thanks for sharing. I'm so old I remember making fun of "old people" -- who were younger than I am now!

Thats ashame really. Talk to your parents they could shed some light on the things mentioned on this thread. Learn one thing from this thread if nothing else, don't wait till they are gone to develop an interest in their old stories and in learning more about them as people, adult to adult. I think many have regrets in that area.

I remember when packaging was flimsy and the product inside was sturdy. Now it is frequently the other way around.

i don't remember when it first came on the market but i sure remember drinking it. my mom would serve it to us hot in the winter which we thought was neat, but now sounds a little strange in retrospect.

That's why I have heavy duty scissors laying around the house.

I remember when toothbrushes had handles you could easily hang on to. Nowadays they are (supposedly) ergonomic but they roll around in my hand when I'm brushing my teeth. I hate these toothbrushes. If I could find the old style anywhere I would buy that kind.

I remember when all clocks were either wound by hand or plugged into an electrical outlet.
