I remember when the cigarette company Virginia Slims use to sponsor the women's tennis tour.
Sitting in chairs at airports putting quarters in a tiny TV to watch for a short while. Now we can't hardly go anywhere in public without having a TV blasting for free.
I remember when the airlines gave you a five or six pack of cigarettes while flying and if you were nice they'd give you extra little packets of 'em.

Flying in uniform I would get 3-4 or more mini booze bottles as a " Thank You" the price then was 75 cents booze bottle & can of cola or other and just waiting for the no smoking sign to go off.. cigarettes - cigars - pipes all at the ready 90% of every one on board ready to fire up..
Yeah and I could fly standby in uniform for just a few bucks back then.
I had a system.. book 4-5 first class. If no room you cancelled first class.. pay maybe $42 for Jacksonville -New York one way.. standby was $19 what a deal
Ah, yes, Eastern. Their flights were really inexpensive . Remember Pan Am and TWA?
TWA... Got a great flight.. San Fran >>> New York City. $10-$15 I would guess 40 GI's .. Many ..50-60 TWA Flight Attendants & support Crew - Pilots moving a new 747 to Europe.. they feed us Rib Eye & Lobster & wine as a Thanks for serving.. what a flight
