Earliest memories from the 60's:

Curb feelers (dad wanted those white wall tires white)

These were still around in some stores:

The Penny Candy:

I Was SHOCKED By Some Of These '50s and '60s Candies Not In Stores Anymore...

In the city every neighborhood had the local grocery store:

These drills and hiding under our desk was going to protect us during an air raid:

I don't know since it came off Yahoo images. However, I have one for my '24 Dodge. I just didn't want to walk out to the barn to try and find it.

The Dodge has aluminum hubcaps that screw on. I'm not old enough to remember 1924, I'm just old enough to have inherited the wrench.

The MG & Austin Healy had a spanner wrench that unscrewed the center hub lug.. then you yanked off the wheel..

Yes, I'm somewhat familiar with the sports car hubs that had the single hub nut. I have one of those type of wheels (steel spokes) out in the the barn. The wheel was left at one of our rentals a few years ago and I thought it would make a great looking water hose reel here at the farm. Never finished it though.

Here's what the Dodge hubcaps look like.

Yes it would and, being a Dodge, the coffee table would be worth more than the car it came from.

I've wished many times that our DB coupe was a Chevy or a Ford but it was a gift and as they say about looking gift horses in the mouth. . .

Yep. I remember when 8-track tape clutter could be found blowing across most every highway. I wonder where it all went? Hopefully it choked a few coyotes that tried to eat it.
