Good morning everyone
It is a hot & sticky morning here in NE FL

Ok so we all know today is Friday the 13th but did you know it is the only one in 2008 !!
I though it might be interesting to see the answers to

Todays question :

Has anything weird or strange ever happened to you on a Friday the 13th ?

Today in history:
June 13, 1789 Mrs. Alexander Hamilton serves ice cream for dessert to Washington - hmm and who says you don't learn important facts here each day
June 13, 1912 Albert Berry made the 1st parachute jump from an airplane
1920 - The U.S. Post Office Department ruled that children may not be sent by parcel post. - lol I just found this and had to add it
June 13, 1922 Longest attack of hiccups begins Charlie Osborne, 98 hiccuped over 435 million times before it stopped

Word of the day:
apprise \uh-PRYZ\, transitive verb:
To give notice to; to inform;

Today is:
National Kitchen Klutzes of America Day
it is also
Blame Someone Else Day
and lets not forget
National Weed Your Garden Day

lol no kidding

there was a period that it seemed Friday the 13th and my autos were not a good match
I had 2 accidents and blew out a transmission over a 5 year period on FTT
so it got to a point that I just didn't drive on that day

knock on wood that seemed to of passed

though it is kind of ironic that I am picking up my car from the auto body shop today though this was hail damage not "karla caused damage"

Nope, in fact I didn't even notice the date until I read this ! :-)

Besides, I am not superstitious.

You mean besides a ladder collapsing while I was walking under it, running over a black cat with my truck, and breaking the mirror when I looked at myself in it, and spilling the salt shaker on the table? Nah.. nothing unusual really happened...

Don't worry, the black cat survived, but he sued me and got a good settlement!

Friday the 13th is a myth and superstition, and I don't believe in it. It's just another day.

If FTT is supposed to be bad luck, etc., then I do think that I have many FTT during every month lately! Just when I think something is going 'right' for a change, pow, it turns out negative. Not that superstitious about FTT, really!

Pouring down rain here, no weeding garden. See? Ok, who asked for the rain? Must have been somebody! Well, back to other things about now. See y'all.
