Finally settling down here in western Kentucky. Strong storms blew through Wednesday night. Here in Cadiz there were a couple houses with trees blown over on them. One will have to be torn down. Saw 2 cars that are now compact cars because of the trees on them. Our house was fortunate. Only problem was no electricity for about 3 hours late Wednesday night.

The high yesterday was 105...95 degrees when I went to work at 10:30 p.m. The high today is expected to be 104. Still no rain!

Went to bed with it raining outside and woke up this morning with more rain...clouds have cleared and the sun is shining through so hopefully we'll have a very pleasant day today!

Okay, Dee, still waiting on that rain! Low last night was 75. High today has been revised to an expected 107. And, the wind is blowing.

Chilly and completely overcast; scattered showers. They say there may be a break in the clouds and warm-up later this afternoon. Hope so. I'll be headed to a picnic in a couple of hours.
