Today's Question:

When you were in school did you
Walk to school ?
Take the bus ?
Have parents that dropped you off ?

I either took the bus or was part of a car pool. The school I attended was what we'd call a magnet school today, and kids attended from all over the greater metropolitan area. All of us were bussed or were part of a car pool, because the school itself was in a fairly remote area, and the commute distance was anywhere from a few miles to 40 or 50 miles in some cases.

Bonus Question:

Did you take your lunch or buy lunch ?

Lunch was provided at no extra cost, although considering what the school charged to attend there, that's the least they could have done.

What was your favorite "cafeteria food" ?

I liked pretty much all of it. The food was actually fresh-cooked there on premises, and the classrooms nearest the kitchen got to enjoy the smell of lunch cooking all morning long. They didn't serve fancy stuff, but it was solid and satisfying Midwestern fare, and I enjoyed it. School lunches sure changed by the time my own offspring started school, though, and I don't blame them for being underwhelmed by the offerings they found in their cafeterias.

Did you ever "trade" items from your lunch ?

No, I can't say that I ever did.

Extra Credit Question:

Ok lol fess up

Who here sings along with the stereo in
the car ?

Oh, sure, if I'm listening to Brahms' German Requiem or to Beethoven's 9th Symphony or to Mozart's Magic Flute or any of the dozens of other classical pieces that I was fortunate enough to sing when I was a member of a symphony chorus.

at home ?
Ditto, though I try to limit that to times when nobody is around to suffer through it.

Just for Fun:

How many different types of potato chips can be found in your home ?

Zero. There are certain types of food that simply cannot enter the door of our home, and potato chips is one of them.

What is the strangest CD or song that you have in your music collection ?

I think that honor would go to a bluegrass Klezmer CD that the spouse picked up a few years ago.
