[quote=Karla with a K;10912235]Morning all
I just got up stayed up late to watch Greys Anatomy last night so it was after 12 before I fell asleep

So have another cup of coffee while I get to "work"

Thanks for your patience this morning

Now you can go back in and edit your 1st post to add in

Today's Question

What plans do you have for this weekend ? This will be my third Saturday off from work. We don't have anything planned but I'm sure we will do something.

Same ole same ole ?
or
Something new & exciting ?

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that made you a tad "Cranky" ?
(lol waiting for the ? does not count)

Extra Credit Question:
I noticed this the other day so have to ask

Have you started seeing Christmas items in your local stores yet ? It used to be after Thanks Giving. I haven't seen anything yet. The Shopping Channels are pushing Xmas dreck.

Ok "fess up" who has started Christmas shopping ? Not me.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Default Yey yey it's TGIF day!

I guess I will get that drink tonight. We'll see. I will NOT skip my workout today (I did yesterday coz of the rain). I, at least, need to get 2x in this week (should have be 3-4). Anyway, on to the questions...

Today's Question

What plans do you have for this weekend ?

Same ole same ole ?
or
Something new & exciting ? Probably just taking the kiddo out to look for costumes, see if there's any kid movies and eat out. We'll see..

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that made you a tad "Cranky" ?
(lol waiting for the ? does not count) Um, just a mixture of things; some include some of the way people think on here and what they post or their interpretation of rules..just you know, people in general. It's just an irritation, not necessarily cranky.

Extra Credit Question:
I noticed this the other day so have to ask

Have you started seeing Christmas items in your local stores yet ? No, not at all. We still have Halloween, Thanksgiving and all that to go through.

Ok "fess up" who has started Christmas shopping ?

Today is:
Crab Meat Newburg Day-- protein fiesta

National Food Service Employees Day--yeah we better be nice to them, especially if they don't make it in front of us lol

World Maritime Day

One Hit Wonder Day-- yeah where's Jason Donovan?

Love Note Day--What are those? lol

National Comic Book Day--Might as well. Hollywood turns them all into movies anyways. Wonder when they are going to make ARCHIE.

Today's Question

What plans do you have for this weekend ?
I'm not sure yet. Headed to Dublin next weekend so we need to save some money. Plus, I haven't been feeling well. We have a function to go to tonight, but I might bow out. Not in the mood.

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that made you a tad "Cranky" ?
Boyfriend being a complete jerk-face liar.

Extra Credit Question:
I noticed this the other day so have to ask

Have you started seeing Christmas items in your local stores yet ?
Yep, far too early! It's September!!!

Ok "fess up" who has started Christmas shopping ?
Nope, too poor.

Today's Question

What plans do you have for this weekend ?

Tonight my son is an escort for the third straight year in the school's beauty review, so I will be sitting on the front row cheering him on!!! He is so cute in his tux, this year the vest and tie are HOT PINK with the black tux, and he is a knockout in it if I say so myself

Saturday, I am painting! Yippie, finally got my colors chosen, and can't wait to get started.

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that made you a tad "Cranky" ?
(lol waiting for the ? does not count)

My son makes me cranky each morning by dragging his feet and almost being late for school. He waits till last minute to get there!

Extra Credit Question:
I noticed this the other day so have to ask

Have you started seeing Christmas items in your local stores yet ? YES

Ok "fess up" who has started Christmas shopping ? Not acutally bought anything, but have got the list started on what to get people. I use a Christmas Club with our bank so I try to have my list ready by the time I get my check and all I have to do is go get the items! Preparing ahead of time keeps me on budget and is less stressful as well. I know how much I will be getting, and try to save some for one or two unexpected items. Makes my season a bit more Jolly!

Have a wonderful Friday and weekend everyone, stay safe and cavort till your feet drop from under you!

Today's Question

What plans do you have for this weekend ?

Fourth Sat of the month so that means an adoption event at Petsmart. We won't have many dogs there because the HS is also holding it's fall Rabies clinic at 4 locations around the county.

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that made you a tad "Cranky" ?
(lol waiting for the ? does not count)

The person in front of me at the grocery store was paying an $80.00+ total in single dollar bills, very slowly.

Have you started seeing Christmas items in your local stores yet ?

I've only been to the hardware store and the farmers supply in recent days so no x-mas stuff there yet.

Ok "fess up" who has started Christmas shopping ? NOT me.

Hi Karla and QOTD'ers...Happy Friday!!

We are having a cooling trend in Southern California...it's supposed to only get to 99 degrees today...we'll see...they're hardly ever right!

What plans do you have for this weekend ? Same ole same ole

Waiting on my new prescription for 2 weeks made me just a tad cranky! I finally took matters into my own hands and called my insurance company myself...I found out it was the office help at my Dr. office...they would never get back with the insurance! In fact, and this really makes me cranky, the supervisor never even returned MY CALL!!! I'm sorry...I need to go to the venting thread...

Have you started seeing Christmas items in your local stores yet? Yes, but I'd rather see that than Halloween stuff!

Ok "fess up" who has started Christmas shopping ? Not I...

1926 - Henry Ford announces 8 hour, 5-day work week. My dad was a Ford worker till he retired...he worked for FoMoCo most of his life.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!
