too funny Pirate Girl, growing up, I had a huge crush on Shaun Cassidy, but as you can see, I didn't marry him either. Oh well.
I still think about being an English teacher. My only problem is I want to teach elementary aged kids, but I love to teach Shakespeare. Can't exactly teach Hamlet to 3rd graders, lol.

My son graduates from HS next month, and in my two year plan, I want to go back to school to study structural engineering. Not what I always wanted to be, but it's what interests me now.
I wanted to be a teacher. But since I was grossly misinformed by my school counselors in the early 1980s, that teachers didn't make any money (not true for teachers in Chicagoland I just found out) I became a graphic designer instead.
Which is a challenging and fun profession, but not at all stable. And money is not very good either. It is flexible cause I can freelance though and that is important for me.

Well...I guess halfway I have become what I always wanted. I wanted to be a writer and a teacher. I am the teacher......gotta find the time to be the writer.
