Dan was a single guy living at home with his father and working in the
family business.

When he found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly father
died, he decided he needed a wife with which to share his fortune.

One evening at an investment meeting, he spotted the most beautiful woman
he had ever seen. Her natural beauty took his breath away. "I may look like
just an ordinary man," he said to her, "but in just a few years, my father
will die, and I'll inherit 20 million dollars."

Impressed, the woman obtained his business card and three days later, she
became his stepmother.

Women are so much better at estate planning than men

Anna Nicole was working as a stripper in a mens' club when she was spotted by the letch, J. Howard Marshall, who liked to go to strip clubs and ogle the girls. He took a fancy to her and he is the one who made the first move. HE invited HER to quit stripping and move in with him. According to Anna Nicole, he proposed marriage several times but she was still legally married to her first husband, from whom she had separated 4 years before. Marshall supported her and lavished her with gifts during their two year "courtship", during which time Anna Nicole's modeling career took off. One and one-half years after her divorce was final, she married Marshall. The rest is history. IMO she would have been a fool NOT to have taken advantage of this opportunity.

Well I see your point and I don't disagree necessarily, but kissing that old dude had to be gross. I think both parties were opportunistic. I am not judging, but I think Anna earned and paid a high price... that hasted her premature end. "Money is not everything" and some opportunities are not advantageous.
