It was funny! I did look very clever!

Granted, I wouldn't have figured it out without talking to the heating guy. But often I can figure things out without professionals.

My husband always calls me to consult on his delemas. I don't know how I do it most of the time.

Once he was hanging windows. He couldn't get it level. He was shoving splints around the edges and the window wouldn't close smoothly. He worked on it for hours and finally called me upstairs. I took one look at it and said, "Move that one here and that one there." And it worked perfectly with those two little adjustments!

Mind you, I couldn't hang a window and do drywall or anything all on my own. But I'm the master at figuring out what's not going right.

I was born to be a supervisor!

Hi all. I was up most of the night with a sick kid and we are on our way to the walk in clinic. I think it is strep. Poor little guy. This stuff always seems to happen when it is snowing and I just want to stay at home.

Awwww poor like guy!! Poor mommy! Please be careful out there. I hope it's nothing serious and he gets to feeling better real soon!

Hopes, you know, some people are simply "troubleshooters". Their minds work in a very logical way. I'm exactly the same way.....folks can be stewing over situations for days.....I walk on to the scene and say, "Oh hey? You know, if you did it like THIS, it would work out just fine!" I can't tell you how many times I've gotten "the look"....(are you friggin' KIDDING me? ....Duh! Of COURSE!!) The most maddening thing to me is when one of my older sons are baffled, start getting all worked up about something, "This is STUPID!! NO! There's no way to DO this!!" I say, "Now hon, if you just__________ and then ________, it'll work out just fine". "Mom! I've tried EVERYTHING...it won't WORK!!" Me: Allright.....that's enough!! just TRY it my way!......Son: Grumble, grumble, grumble....."Yeah, okay! I guess it does work". LOL

Sometimes it just takes a fresh set of eyes...not to mention NOT being the one who's been hammering at it, who has gotten sooooo frustrated that they want to light a stick of dynamite under the offending "thing"! LOL

It is strep. We've started antibiotics. I can't believe anyone would voluntarily be out driving around in this, but Target is full of people.

Ugg. Sorry rkb. I had strep a lot when I was a kid and it's miserable. Big hugs to the little dude. Luckily the antibiotics kick in pretty quick and he'll feel better soon.
