Thankfully, it is nice & expensive along w/ having a monthly charge for wi-fi & I have no need nor $$ for it.
We just the regular iPad - we don't have the monthly wi-fi charge. We have wireless here at home, and many places we might happen to take ours a lot of times has free wireless.
One thing we love - playing board games on it. We have Monopoly, Life, Scrabble, Boggle... lots of fun. Many of the games were 99 cents at Christmas time.
My husband made me a wooden stand for it. So I set it up in the kitchen and hook up to allrecipes.com while I'm cooking and have everything right there. I love it.
Ohiogirl- that video clip was cool. and I didn't know one could knit a bathing suit
jkcoop- love the idea of the stand & getting the recipes.
That sounds like a really fun way to play board games!!
I like Imovie. I used it a lot for school. We had a lot of video projects. Here is my knitting final. I didn't knit anything but it's supposed to tell a story about a customer. I had such an easy time doing it too.
Was going to answer this in the thread but realized there are people who might not appreciate my hijacking..

I do believe Soupy came up in conversation, although I was visiting from Australia for an extended period and I had no clue who he was, so I don't recall exactly what is was about. He was spoken of with much reverence, I remember that much. He and Tony were both in Tim Machine with Bowie at the time, although I never hung out with Tony, only Hunt. He was a sweet guy.

Awesome! The only reason I was holding off on getting the iPad was because of a monthly wi-fi charge on top of internet bill we are already paying. If I can just use wireless (thought with iPhone you had to go through AT&T) I will have to look more into it now

Yes, and the version with just the wi-fi where you connect when you can is cheaper.
