Thats good Jasper!

Thanks maciesmom

I was able to do something nice for myself at the weekend as my daughter was at her dad's but now I realise I can't party like I used to and trying to keep up the younger crowd is just too exhausting!

I guess if I was a 12 year-old posting in Parenting I would be given carte blanche?

When all else fails as a parent, inject a bit of humor!

My 6 year old daughter had been in her room wigging out for about an hour, and
there was no talking her down. I was getting fed up, so my husband decided to
lighten the mood. For the record, she's not typically a beast child - she's
actually a pretty awesome little kid who was having a rough day.

What's the deal with this forum and adolescent boys lately? Has there been a recent moratorium on homework, buddies, sports, music and videogames that I am unaware of?

Babies will sleep anywhere. I love the 2nd video where the mom wakes the baby up.

Don't you just love elephants? those videos of the mother elephants pacing while people try to help baby get out of mud hole or well are incredible. They are so protective and I love their society. They will nurse each other's kids, discipline when necessary and they mourn in such an incredible way--passing their trunks over and over bones and rearranging them. I want to be a big powerful mama elephant when I come back!
