Sounds a bit weird to me. If the seat belt had not locked you would have made contact with the steering wheel or windshield. Did you?
No my lawyer says that doesn't matter. Accidents happen and thats not whats on trial here, why the accident happened doesn't matter. My seatbelt not locking caused more injury in the accident than there should have been.
