Is there is still a large stigma associated with being uncircumcised? (daughter, natural)

There are lots of ideas, procedures, policies that are approved all over the world. Are they acceptable just because some agency says so? Should we defer at all times and refuse to think for ourselves? Apparently so. Organizations do not determine what's right.
Again, it's more than one agency.
Also, again, I believe it should be up to the parents.
I'm circumcised. Both my sons are not. For me personally, I see it as cosmetic only. My wife deferred to me to make the decision. After watching a youtube vid on how it's done, and holding my newborn son in my arms, I couldn't do it.
As for the stigma, hard to say what will be the norm will be in 20 years. Today it seems like the stigma is going away.
Our boys are intact. Trust me, boys will notice the difference, but so far there's been no "issues". One son in hs and the other in jr hi - both have been on dates - and yes our older son has dated and has had sex without issue. While my understanding is that its probably not 50/50, it certainly isn't as uncommon as it once was.
If your son has had a sleepover or been to one, theres a good chance this has already been addressed between friends. If he is showering after pe or sports, it definitely has been. If there's no trauma yet, if he hasn't said something or indicated hes uncomfortable about it, I wouldn't worry overly much.
As a woman - Ive had both, and personally prefer an intact man.
What's with the circumcision obsession on this site?
A site with 1000s of threads on 1000s of different subjects has a handful on a single topic and you consider than an "obsession"? That would appear to be a very low bar for "Obsession" you are operating under?

Ok, semantics. Why do I see a handful on this topic? For ****'s sake.
Humans are pattern seeking animals that see patterns even when they are not there. I suspect you are just seeing what you want to see therefore which coupled with a low bar for "Obsession" triggers the "pattern" area of your brain.
That said though - topics tend also to be cyclical. A topic that does not get mentioned for awhile suddenly gets 3 or 4 threads. Then nothing for ages. Usually something sparks this - often something in the media or popular culture.
I think it is worth being obsessed about however. When we are hacking bits of new borns without consent or valid reason - often off the back of a combination of bad science and religious nonsense - that is worth showing concern for.
I think there's definitely a stigma out there among women. Most of the women I've been with have never been with an intact man. It's definitely a point of curiosity for a lot of women.

That's an artifact of U.S. demographics and will change as more of the uncircumcised boys born in the early part of this century become sexually active.
I was curious, so I asked my daughter (who just finished her sophomore year of college) and she said that for her (and all of her friends she's talked to about it), not being circumcised is a deal breaker for her. Guess things haven't really changed.
