Stadiums can be so loud I would worry it would damage my infants ears.
People usually bring ear protection for them. The baby wasn’t using a seat, that’s the issue.

In his defense it’s perfrctly acceptable to yell during a game.

Its a packers game. Your chance of sitting next to someone that's obnoxious, whether they're "High On Life" or or high on Miller High Life or whatever are pretty darn good. It isn't exactly the Philharmonic Orchestra.
A three month old? 90th percentile for a 3 month old boy is 26". For weight, about 15#.

I wouldn’T want to seat next to a fat guy with no shirt on and a green P painted on his chest hair but we don’t always get what we want.

There are many different light weight portable little infant seats available. Most parents already have them for use at home.

Yes, I mentioned the ear protection in another post. But a poster said a man who yells during the game was displaying "boorish" behavior, and I don't agree with that. Many people yell and scream at football games, and it's a venue that encourages it. The crowd noise was considered the "12th man" at Seahawks games because it helped them win so many games (if you can be loud enough that the other team can't hear the calls that's what you shoot for).

Also, I like to yell at games and I would be uncomfortable doing this next to an infant. Remember the ear comment I brought up?

Have you never been to a professional stadium?

What are you talking about deflection? What am I deflecting?

I do not want to sit next to an infant at a football game.
The mother and infant together are significantly smaller than the average male packer fan. Your argument is a poor one.

No, its not perfectly acceptable. Most sporting venues have codes of conduct against foul language, and it can result in being asked to leave. Of course an occasional word typically isn't a problem, but if someone is going to have to sensor themselves because of a nearby baby, I'm guessing its not the occasional f bomb.

Irresponsible conduct will not be tolerated at Lambeau Field or in its parking lots and, in some cases, may result in arrest and/or ejection from the game. The following will not be tolerated:
[snip]
  • Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures

The average American woman over 20 weighs 169 lbs, hardly petite. Most gain during pregnancy and have not returned to their original weight after only 3 mos.
