Read a book years ago. If you meet the Buddha on the road,kill him. The premise is ... be on your own path and not repeat or wish upon another the experiences you had. They are yours. Period. This works both in the joys and sorrows. Each to their own mission.
I'm less of a person ...as I cannot wish upon my blood any of the perils I endured. There just isn't that mindset anymore to draw upon.
I hope this mom/daughter flourish as adults. That these living together challenges bonds them in a new way.
