BEDFORD, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio man who argued with his grown son over a messy bedroom said he overreacted when he called 911. Andrew Mizsak called authorities Thursday after his 28-year-old son - who's a school board member in the Cleveland suburb of Bedford - threw a plate of food across the kitchen table and made a fist at him when told to clean his room.
The son, also named Andrew, lives in a room in his parents' basement.
The father declined to press charges and told police he doesn't want to ruin his son's political career.
The son, who also works as a political consultant, said he's lucky to be living in the house rent free. He also promises to keep his room clean.
Oh my gosh. There seems to be more problems with that story than the misuse of an emergency service.
I was just reading yesterday about HR employee's who are getting fed up with having to interview the "generation Y" set. Evidently Generation Y has been raised in such a way that it is so dependent upon their parents that they even bring their mom or dad - or both - to job interviews! Mommy and daddy are negotiating salary and some were saying that the mom or dad did most of the talking during the interviews!! Some of the HR worker's were telling stories of these applicants texting during the interviews. When questioned about it, they would explain that they were multitasking! Also, many were even rushing the interview so that they could make it home in time to catch their favorite show on TV, or a sports game.
Maybe if he keeps his room clean, he'll get to stay up past his bedtime??
