What town do y'all think holds this title both aesthetically and recreatively, out of: Hanover, Waynesboro, Spring Grove, East Berlin, York, McConnellsburg, Mercersburg, Littlestown, or Dover? I say the winner of this question is Hanover slightly over Waynesboro. The nastiest and dirtiest is easily York. The worst people may just be Waynesboro. Most stuck up women-Littlestown. Most suck up men-Waynesboro(think they all are big bad hunters and mechanics and know it all). However, I was actually impressed with another SCPA town for their Christmas lights- Chambersburg. Bought some decent cars from Dover, so not much bad to say on that place except that it is still the same ol' bland ol' PA. PA needs more color or something, cuz it looks gloomy even on sunny days. PA does have some nice waterfalls, but the towns are just downright too alike, hardly any unique ones but maybe Montrose way up near NY. Both McConnellsburg and Mercersburg are scenic. East Berlin seems equal to Hanover in the level of trance-like attitudes in their people- like Duhhh. Thank the Lord Almighty!!! I will soon be gone from here!! Off to see the wonderful wizard of Valdosta, GA. So much more colorful down there. Leaving tomorrow, geeze the time is standing still- hurry up.

Have fun in Georgia, been there and done that. Outside of Atlanta where I lived it's no different from PA just the real south where confederate flags wave proudly and they typically don't like Yankees or outsiders so be prepared. The blandness you mention will be very obvious in a lot of places too.

Heck, you live in Atlanta or suburbs, you may as well live up in DC or other Northeast cities. Most of the residents are transplants from everywhere there anyway. I like to live where an area is dominated by true natives. So far, down here in Valdosta, already every one has been abnormally nice. I have seen people to be rather nosy down here, but at least they talk instead of standing there staring at you, like they are in a trance. That is Pennsylvania's specialty- replace the 'Penn' with 'Trance' instead and it would even sound like that good old region of Romania. I have not seen anything bland yet down here- only colorful. Everyone at stores, restaurants, really about anywhere has been overly nice. I am definitely not used to that because I kept to myself bigtime when I lived in PA. At least they are not so petty down here to cry about parking a block away instead of right outside their door, like they do in PA. Heck, I have all kinds of orthopedic injuries (disabled) and people in PA said nothing to me other than btch that I parked in our reserved lil parking area when they couldn't find one and had to park a measly block away. Nothing wrong with their physicality compared to mine. Yet those people do not care they'd rather whine, they are all about themselves- cold, vicious, petty, and heartless up in PA. Just one small example of PA people's mentality, there is much more. Such a special breed people in PA are. Heck MD borders it and they aren't quite that pathetic there. Most people in PA do not care 'How' a person is doing, just 'What' a person is doing. Damn petty, pathetic jokes they are.

You're ignorant if you think that all 12,702,379 (and growing) people in Pennsylvania have the same mentality.
