Ferlo is the worst. Perfect example of the "bad old Democrat" who is on the opposite spectrum of someone like Peduto.

Gee, a "proliferation of wine around the state" ... What a horrible idea! Because no one would think of pairing that with the state's wine industry for a terrific marketing campaign, eh?

Have you ever heard the phrase "follow the money"? Bottom line is that most government hates to give up revenue (as do most people). There is a large percentage of the population that doesn't care about "free choice", and they are used to going to bars to purchase a 6-pack. There are many people that benefit massively from the current situtation.
