Default Good place to raise a family

[quote=valene1992;3111085]Hey, I'm thinking of moving to Pennsylvania...

I have great memories of raising my two children in Harrisburg, PA. I worked part-time and in the summer, we did a day trip each week. We visited every state park and nature preserve. Ocean City, NJ is 3 hours away. Baltimore is 75 minutes away, Phily is 2 hours, Pittsburgh is 3 1/2 hours. There are plenty of jobs and housing is affordible. Summer is very humid, winters are cold.

Happybee, you would get much better responses if you started a new thread.

IUP is a good college but if you are not a PA resident, I'm not sure if it's worth paying out of state tuition for it.

I heared Pennsylvania is nice?
I find many people in PA to be cold. If they don't know you, they don't want to talk to you. The older generation is friendly, but ages 20-60 Pennsylvanians are too often the kind who exploit other people without remorse. It's a psychopathic culture.
