Thanks for all your replies. I have a suggestion for those of you in my situation. I started listing the property on Craig's list, BUT with pictures. When I added the pictures, the showings increased, we've had 5 this week alone and no one has said no yet, one woman came up from D.C., having seen the ad on Craig's List. I've been placing ads on almost all the available cities in PA. I've had over 100 hits off Zillow.com, another good suggestion. To danwxman, most of the people I know here either commute to Harrisburg or Selinsgrove. To BBB17037, thanks for the compliment, I have not seen a website as nice as the one my realtor set up for me and with the recent flurry of showings, I'm being patient. Unfortunately the home I was waiting to buy was pulled off the market in Lewisburg unexpectedly so now the tables are turned, lots of people interested, no where to go. I appreciate the idea of renting, my own family suggested same, but right now I can't face putting everything in storage and living in a small apartment, I have 3 big dogs and a cat and can't see it. Also my new employer has a 3 month limit on storing my stuff, otherwise, if 3 months expires, I'm on my own for an otherwise paid move which is a big perk. Thanks again everyone.

I would consider advertising in countryside magazine, its a magazine devoted to homesteaders, raising there own meat, veg's etc who want to get back to country life.

Alot of the homes adverstised there can be quite expensive, but you never know who has the money, you should go to their site, maybe you can get a free issue, or buy one no doubt at a bookstore or newstand.

sorry i can't help much more, not alot selling goin on in clearfield county, lot of sales signs tho
