Assuming, that you have a safe, how much is in there? Maybe it's just television, but I just watched a favorite Lifetime movie of mine, Home Invasion (starring Haylie Duff), and the main character had stacks of money in her safe. Is this normal?

No safe and I would be hard pressed to find more than $5 in the house.

File safe -- no cash. Keeping cash in the house is crazy. I'm thinking of putting in a safe for my jewelry, though. Still looking for one.

FS914E5LP Fire Safe, by AMSEC, from Maximum Security Safes
$255
bolts to floor

Is the one we own.

Better is one that sites IN the floor (embedded in the concrete). Installation is more expensive. Had one in the previous house.

None. My cash is in my wallet. The only expensive jewelry I own is typically on my body.
