Maybe you get a raise, or you finally pay off the house, eliminate other expenses, etc. How much more coming in a month would you say would truly change your life, and in what way would it change? Maybe you'll now KNOW you'd have enough for retirement, would you travel more, finally get your dream car, move into that nice neighborhood you always wanted to live in, or just sleep better?

Obviously this is also fully dependent upon how much a person currently makes/has, but I'm just curious.

Difficult to answer really. My savings currently are on target to reach my retirement goal so any extra money would accelerate that but the life changing aspect would be unnoticeable in everyday practice for quote some time. I wouldn't change companies for less than 20k a year more so maybe that's a fair answer

I wouldn't change my day to day without significantly more, it would make me feel safer with my safety net, help save for kids college and take better vacations. I would like to save faster for retirement so I don't feel money stress some day.

I think many peoples lives could be changed for the better if they didn't have to pay their mortgage or rent each month.

I know if I didn't have to mail that big check every month I could use that money for many things.

$2K to $3.5K more would get me in a dream home for me and the family to enjoy. That would be a game changer.

I think an extra $2000 would be enough to be life changing for us. Maybe not right away, but it would likely help us pay off all our bills in half the time. After that it would allow us to travel more while still putting more toward retirement ensuring we have more than enough, It could even cover the cost of a little second home in one of our dream vacation spots. Or it could help me break into real estate investing. And of course I'd sleep better at night.
