Sheesh.

Move some money out of your savings account into your checking account, write a personal check, mail it.

I was told if you transfer money to her account you should use a routing number for the original state (yes each account has a routing number based on what state you opened it in).

On Online banking, it says the routing number for "Direct Deposits and Electronic Payments" is the number for the original state. But the routing number for "Domestic Wire Transfers" is for the current state.

If you want to make an ACH transfer to her, which one would you use??

Also why are there two routing numbers for the account?
It sounds like what you're actually asking is this:
Is an ACH transfer a "Direct Deposit and Electronic Payment" or is it a "Domestic Wire Transfer"?

ACH is the Direct Deposit and Electronic Payment.

Also, there is not two routing numbers for the account. The routing numbers are to identify the bank. Different routing numbers for different routes is common practice among the banks.
