I've got a huge problem. I can't seem to save anything. I still live at home and have a very low paying job, $10/hr video editor and I can't seem to save anything. How can I keep myself from going out and eating 5-6 meals a day, stop myself from just spending on things I don't need.

You already answered your own question. I make less money than you, pay $460 a month in rent, pay car insurance, etc and still manage to save a little each month. If I was in your situation, I would have no problem putting at least $500 a month away in the bank.

Best book on money management IMO is the Total MOney Makeover by Dave Ramsey. It will change your life if you apply the baby steps listed.

My question would be - how do you manage to do that at all?!

I thnik tasht you simply need to look at one thign like fi you have a cellphne skip one meal pout and satrt tehre. Saving is a habit juts as spoending isd. Once you get tot eh poit where you see the advanatge in such areas as being less stressed;feeling more in control of your life it is as addicting as anything else really.its like the feeling you get when having done smething really good verus the monetary thrill you get when buying something .
