I was at Pet Supermarket last night. They had a new shipment of baby bunnies for sale. By the time I got there, a little boy purchased one, a bag of pellet food and a small bunny cage. Oh, I cringed and wanted to reach out, "You forgot the hay...."

Oh dear.
And so it begins. It makes me so frustrated......I really did love having bunnies, but they are by no means for everyone. We got one surrendered at the shelter a few weeks ago that was so underweight we had to hold it for a couple of weeks to let it get some weight on before putting it up for adoption. The owner in that case had been feeding it apparently nothing but lettuce
