I think he was just highlighting the point that this is a retail forum because people started bickering about non-retail related matters in this forum.
So the word "Burberry" in his sentence is inter-changeable to any brands out there.

Gucci...again?

The space in the Shops at the Bellevue that now houses Williams-Sonoma was a Gucci store when the Bellevue-Stratford's lower floors were transformed into a shopping mall.

And is Burberry really returning? If so, where?

Finally: I notice our troll mentioned Swarovski among the "big boys" of high-end retail. I have this vague recollection of walking past Swarovski in the 1400 block of Walnut Street very recently.

Anyone out there know what's going in at the NW corner of 15th and Walnut? (Maybe this is an excuse to renew contacts at Michael Salove Company.)

Yes, Swarovski has been there a while now.

Nope, dunno what's going on at that corner. Whatever it is they better not mess with the Louis Kahn historic sign regarding the building next door where his firm was.

Which corner? The one diagonally located across the cheesecake building or the bldg where the LA fitness is?
For the building across cheesecake diagonally (the one being reno-ed currently), AT & T will be on the ground floor.
For the "LA Fitness" bldg, rumor was Under Armour pulled out.

And yes, we have Swarovski beside that bakery / cafe (I call it Le Pain in the Bootay), which one bathroom is always closed for customer and the soap dispenser ion the other one is broken for at least 5 months.
