Apparently, he doesn't understand or care that supporting local restaurants or other businesses helps local entrepreneurs who have actually invested their time and energy and money in the community in which they live. They prove every day that they love our area. I try to give that love back by spending my money in their shops and restaurants.

I remember the movie theater. It was definitely a Vinny Testa's/T's before becoming a Buca di Beppo, though (which I went to in 2011). I remember when the Vinny Testa's opened up circa. 1999, when upper-mid scale Italian chains with obnoxious portions were still a novelty in this Area. It was good chain Italian fare, however.

Here's a picture of the old theater, along with a brief synopsis of its history:

I'm not anti-chain as a matter of principle, but in most cases, local places are just better.

Maggiano's Little Italy is an excellent chain, but Media PA is blessed to have Fellini Cafe.

First of all, Ted's Pizza is Garbage and has been there ever since i was 11 years old. I prefer Ed's Wings on 35th and Lancaster over Ted's Pizza.
