Lol, did it really seem like I was suggesting they should be masked?

I was suggesting that walking through confined areas with unmasked people is concerning. Of course the people are unmasked while eating. I want the city to create conditions in which the restaurants can further spread out tables, and in which pedestrians can avoid walking through these confined areas. Hence, my suggestion for closing down some streets to motor vehicle traffic.

Oh ok because I was just going to suggest staying home but you were talking about spacing out more to avoid being in confined area.

I was watching an Action News 6 video on outdoor dining in Center City and West Philly and one place they filmed had rows of tables on both sides of the sidewalk with a gauntlet about 2-3 feet wide for pedestrians. I knew they would do this.

Here's the video. At 1:32 you can see the double rows, which is a violation of the re-opening rules. They're just doing what they did before the virus.

Any predictions on when the Philadelphia area will enter green (for indoor dining).

I'm hoping by 6/26/20?

That seems like a good guess. Each county needs to spend a minimum of 2 weeks in yellow before moving to green, provided the data doesn't show a significant increase in cases. Since Philadelphia went "yellow-light" with out door dining waiting another week, 6/26 would make sense. I would think worse case would be the following week, 7/3.

Green Phase? We just entered the yellow phase last week. My guess would be in July or August

Word I heard on the street from staff at two Gayborhood bars I swung by over the weekend is that the city should go green by 6/30. That's two weeks and one day from now, enough time for any clusters to pop up.

So far, the other parts of the state that have gone from yellow to green have done so in less than four weeks.
