Yeah it scares me when I think about it.
That death is forever.
It's not for 900 trillion trillion trillion trillion years and then you wake up.
No it's for eternity.
Then why think about it?
So what on death. It doesn't scare me as I am convinced nothing (example, an afterlife) will happen. Life is overrated anyway. Try to enjoy something in the here and now.

Because it will be forever, that's what scares me.
Well that is like saying that the nonexistence of the peanut butter and jelly sandwich I ate today, will be forever. Both the sandwich after I ate it, and me after I die, will no longer be organized according to their respective identities, our matter and energy scattered to the four winds in various ways. In both cases, the matter and energy will be recycled but there will never be that same sandwich or that same good old Mordant.
The same will be true of my car eventually, or my computer or my house. Everything is finite, and eventually disappears forever.
It doesn't suddenly become a special or deep insight that this is so, just because it involves you or me. We are part of the constant churn of matter and energy in the universe. So there is not "one thing" that lasts forever. The reality is that "everything" doesn't last forever.

It scares me to think that i will be dead and hence will not experience anything for eternity , not even in 90000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000000000000000000000000000000000000 trillion years.
