Does anyone have info regarding these condos? Living here? How's the area? I have a friend thinking of purchasing a condo in this complex. Is it a good place to buy and live? Or is it a bunch of renters?

Well, right now on the MLS there are 20 units for rent and 7 units actively for sale of which 2 are short sales. There are a few others that are under contract. These are a combination of condo units and on the perimeter are townhouses. They all seem to be upscale and have many amenities and the area is nice to live in. The HOA fee is approximately $270 per month for the condos and $165 for the townhouses.

LOL! I remember seeing those late night infomercials once or twice.

BELLA VISTA - The company that for years brought hundreds, if not thousands, of people to Bella Vista in hopes of selling them a piece of the "village"has gone out of business.
National Recreational Properties Inc., with an office in the Village Center along Arkansas Highway 340, ceased operating in the city last week, according to a woman still on the payroll to answer phones at the office on Thursday...
...
...NRPI was known for its late-night cable commercials starring former TV star Erik Estrada, who tried to sell lots mainly to retirees.

I'm confused. Is there actually any connection between what Erik Estrada was advertising in Arkansas, and this development in Scottsdale?

Bella Vista isn't exactly an uncommon name.

I think they are unrelated after some googling.

No connection at all except the name is the same. Bluenoter and I were just joking on the similarity of the name.

I live w/in the complex and the area is great. The ammenities are worth the price. If your friend has a dog their is a pathway w/in the complex that features 3 seperate stations to do excercises. If your friend likes to play sports or has kids that likes to play sports there are lighted tennis courts, basketball court and a big field next door. Also there is a playground for the little kids next to the basketball court.

There are a lot of stores in the vicinity. Frys, Albertsons, Safeway, AJs, Target, Walmart are just some examples. There are also alot of restaurants too. Also two libraries aren't far away. One of the best part of the location is that it is close to the 101.

I'm sure your friend has done research on the other ammenities of the complex. Overall it is a great place and area to live

I forgot to mention Sprouts grocery store. Ironic since it is my favorite grocery store to shop. Very healthy and wide variety of items
